“The hotel was great but the temperature control system was broken but otherwise the beds were okay and everything worked perfectly fine”
“Such a nice hotel, my friend and I stayed here for 2 nights after our car broke down and we were stuck in Brixen. The staff were so nice and helpful. It made our shitty situation a bit better. Also the indoor swimming pool was great. Big thanks to the staff!”
“We spent nice 3 nights here! Very central, very nice nestled at the River Eisack. Service in the Restaurant was great! The breakfast Service on Sundays is best!!! Spacious Rooms. All standard. Refrigerator and what is needed in the room. No café/ tea facility. You can easily have one in the Schwemme. We liked the Wellness area. It was just a wee full and would stretch it if opened an hour earlier and closed an hour later?!? We will certainley have another visit again! Thank you for your kind hospitality Team and Service Grüner Baum/ Stremitzer.”
“Rooms are clean and spacious but they and the hotel itself are pretty much outdated. Location is good, however, our room was facing some kind of night club and it was super noisy all night. So if you like quietness- check it out with the hotel in advance. Breakfast choices are quite limited but okay. There’s a pool, playroom for kids.”
“Great location! Rooms are kind of older style but it’s a very lovely place! The beds are comfortable and the rooms have a beautiful patio. There is lots of space for storage too! Bathrooms are lovely and spacious and have a tub and shower. Lots of amenities like an indoor and outdoor pool and a sauna all of which were great! Located right next to the river in a quiet area of town. The breakfast is wonderful! The best hotel breakfast I have ever had access to. Tons id fresh options and everything was delicious.”
“The hotel exceeded expectations for our February ski trip as a group of 2 families with children’s ages ranging from 4 to 12. Meals were great - so much choice and really enjoyable. We genuinely looked forward to every meal, especially the desserts. All staff were so friendly and helpful. Multiple pools including an outdoor pool which was heated and useable in winter. Sauna areas were well maintained and never too full. Rooms are clean and comfortable in an older style decor (which i believe is more authentic and in tune with the region). There was a bus stop directly outside the hotel for Plose ski slope (#321 / 20 min drive) which we used even although we had cars. The hotel is spread out across several connecting buildings but all amenities are marked and there is lift access where needed. We stayed in the main building but worth mentioning that the Dependance building is 100m down the street for those considering it. I’d be happy to stay at this hotel again.”
